Amendments and Cancellation Policy during Covid-19

We appreciate and recognise the uncertainty that Covid-19 may be causing our customers. The situation is changing regularly, and we will continue to follow guidance from the authorities in Ireland.

We are experiencing a large volume of enquiries, so we ask you to please bear with us in these challenging times. Please see the FAQ section below, as you may find the answer to your question there.

We have a Special COVID-19 Amendment Policy  in place and it is constantly being reviewed and updated in line with official guidelines and government directives.

Currently, the following options apply for amendment and cancellation requests.

 

Option 1. Special Covid19 Amendment Policy

Where the Irish government introduce official travel restrictions in Ireland, which would mean that a guest could not travel to stay in their holiday accommodation, our Special Covid 19 Amendment Policy will apply.

Our Special COVID-19 Amendment Policy will cover the following:

  • All bookings placed before 14th March 2020. 
  • All bookings placed after 27th June 2020 that become affected by OFFICIAL localised/county/national travel restrictions within Ireland, which would restrict the guest travelling to the holiday accommodation. 

Any bookings outside of the special amendment policy fall under our standard booking terms and conditions.

Option 2. Standard Booking Terms & Conditions

Where our standard terms and conditions apply, the following cancellation policy is applicable.

In the event that you have to cancel your reservation for any reason, the cancellation charges will be as follows. If the cancellation takes place between:

0 – 13 days before arrival 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited by the customer.
14 – 27 days before arrival 75% of the total rental amount will be forfeited by the customer.
28 – 55 days before arrival 60% of the total rental amount will be forfeited by the customer.
56 days or more before arrival the deposit will be forfeited by the customer.

Travel Insurance – If you have to cancel your holiday and you have travel insurance, please speak to your insurance provider. If we can assist you with cancellation confirmation letters, please let us know.

Property Owners – Please understand that we are working closely with our Property Owners to facilitate our guest’s requests.

 

FAQ’s

I am concerned about travelling. Can I amend my booking?

What happens if a warning is issued against travel in Ireland for my holiday dates?

If official travel restrictions are in place in Ireland, our team will be in direct contact with our customers to discuss their options.

Will I receive a refund if I want to cancel my holiday?

We are not currently offering refunds. Any bookings that are not covered by the Special Covid-19 Amendment Policy, falls under our Standard Booking Terms & Conditions.

Will I receive a refund if I need to self-isolate at home before I am due to go on holiday?

No. If you have travel insurance, please speak to your insurance provider. If you do not have travel insurance, we may, in certain circumstances be able to offer you a date amendment.

What happens if I need to self-isolate whilst I am staying in a holiday property?

As this is a situation that changes from day to day, we recommend that you review the up to date guidance from the HSE – https://www2.hse.ie/conditions/coronavirus/coronavirus.html. If you are advised to stay in your holiday property, please call our Customer Care team at +353 95 30620.

I am travelling from overseas, what are my options?
