Cornamona village hosts a shop, a pub, a playground, a pier, and a community centre. The cottage promises a tranquil and peaceful stay while still allowing guests to easily explore the region. The Western Way, a long-distance walking trail is nearby, and will take you to the ancient site of Mámean. Local fishing lakes include Lough Corrib, Lough Mask and Lough Nafooey. Cong village and Ashford Castle are a 15-minute drive away. Leenane and the coastline at Killary Harbour can be reached within a 20-minute drive. A little further afield are the larger towns of Ballinrobe, Westport, Oughterard and Clifden. These bigger towns can all be reached within a 30-40 minutes’ drive. All the nearby towns and villages are host to a variety of restaurants, bars, and cafés, offering something for all tastes. Activities and attractions in the region include golf, boat trips, pony trekking, hill walking, fishing, and much more.

The accommodation in this semi-detached cottage is all on ground floor level. It consists of an open plan kitchen, dining and living space and two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms.
The living room area offers comfortable seating, electric wood effect fire, and TV with Saorview channels. The views from this area look onto the front garden area with its well-maintained lawns. The kitchen and dining area is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including dishwasher, electric cooker with oven, hob, and grill, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, and toaster. The dining table offers ample seating and space for enjoyable family and friends’ meals. A washing machine and tumble dryer is available in the external utility area. There are two bedrooms in the property. Bedroom 1 is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms have wooden floors and provide ample storage drawers and wardrobes. Both en-suite bathrooms include WC, sink, and electric shower over bath. A hairdryer is available. Outdoor seating is available to the front of the property, perfect for those relaxing evenings after a day out exploring the region. The property is oil centrally heated throughout.
