Cleaners Required (Multiple Roles – Seasonal)
We are currently hiring reliable and hardworking cleaners to join our team for the 2026 season, from March through to October. We are offering fixed term contracts of 6-8 months duration. The role involves cleaning and changeover of short-term rental properties in the Clifden and wider Connemara area.

Operating as Love Connemara Cottages, Connemara Coastal Cottages, and Mayo Coastal Cottages, we are a well-established and fast-growing, self-catering accommodation marketing agency, with our offices based in Clifden town. We provide marketing services for a large and diverse portfolio of properties in the Connemara and Mayo regions, ranging from family-friendly homes and apartments to premium and luxury stays.
Main Responsibilities
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working in a team, and takes pride in maintaining high cleaning standards. You will be expected to:
- Carry out duties as assigned.
- Carry out full cleaning and changeover of holiday properties after guest’s check-out.
- Ensure properties are cleaned to a high standard.
- Ensure properties are ready for incoming guests check-in time.
- Maintain accurate logs and records.
- Report any maintenance or damage issues.
Working Hours
- Hours and days of work will depend on daily workload and time of year.
- Shifts are generally 4-6 hours per day between the hours of 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, from Monday-Sunday.
- Expected Hours during peak season: 25-30 hours per week over 5 days during peak summer holidays (July & August). Hours will vary outside of peak season.
- Shifts are rostered in advance.
Requirements
- Valid work authorisation in Ireland (required)
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Candidates must have own transport or be based in the area, as travel to holiday homes will be required.
- Must have a fair/good level of English.
Experience
Previous cleaning experience in hospitality/holiday rentals is an advantage, but not essential. Training and guidance will be provided.
