This property is ideal for families or a group of friends. Clifden is a bustling market town boasting ample shops, bars, and restaurants, and will provide you with everything you might need for your self-catering holiday. Traditional music, song and dance are very popular in many of the local pubs. This is an ideal base for exploring the Connemara region. Walk or cycle the Sky Road for elevated views of the Atlantic shoreline or stop off and see the ruins of Clifden castle. Enjoy some fishing along the rugged coastline nearby. Just a short drive away, you will find Omey Beach, Connemara National Park at Letterfrack, Kylemore Abbey, Killary Fjord, and many more well-known areas of unique beauty. The ferry to Inishbofin Island can be found at Cleggan, an ideal day trip. Local activities include kayaking, coasteering, mountain walking, fishing, pony trekking, walking, cycling and much more.

Enter into a welcoming hallway in the centre of the cottage. Follow the hallway to the right past the bedrooms and you enter into a beautifully decorated open plan living space. From the dining area you step down into a cosy sitting room with an open fire, comfy couches, smart TV and a small library to enjoy with windows on three sides you can watch the ever-changing landscape outside whatever the season!
The dining area offers ample seating for 8 adults – a perfect space to enjoy meals you have prepared in the modern kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary equipment including a fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, electric hob, and electric cooker with grill.
The cottage has three bedrooms, Bedroom 1, the master bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is also a double whereas bedroom 3 is a family room with a double and single bed. The bathroom is located close to all bedrooms and includes WC, sink, bath with shower overhead. A washing machine and dryer are stored in a shed externally.
Guests can enjoy two outdoor patios & outdoor furniture, a perfect place to sit, dine and relax in the fine weather. The cottage is centrally heated throughout by an oil heating system. Bed linen and towels are provided. Heating, electricity and wi-fi is included in the rental price. Smoking is not allowed. Pets welcome. Parking is available on site for up to three cars. Short breaks are available year-round.
