All properties are priced on a per-property basis, up to the stated amount of persons that the property caters for. 

Bed linen is provided in all properties. Guest towels are also provided. 

Guests should bring their own linen for travel cots, if they have been requested.

If any charges apply at a property, they will be advertised on the property page and are visible prior to booking.

Where additional charges apply at a property, for example, electricity and heating charges, these charges are payable directly to the owner/caretaker prior to departure.

We recommend booking early, especially if you plan to holiday in the peak months of July & August, and other popular holiday times throughout the year such as bank holidays, Easter, Christmas and mid-terms. These times tend to book up early. 

A 25% deposit is payable when a booking is made eight weeks or more before the rental is due to start. The full amount is due for bookings placed within 8 weeks of arrival date. 

All bookings should be paid in full 8 weeks in advance of arrival. 

We accept payments by credit card, debit card, Paypal and bank transfer. You can select your option at time of booking. 

A booking/administration fee of €25 is payable for all bookings made online, over the phone, or by any other method. This is payable at the time of booking and is non-refundable.

Check-in is from 4pm. You will receive details of key collection via email in advance of your stay. 

Check-out is strictly 10.30am on day of departure. We ask that you leave the property as you found it.

Late check-out requests can sometimes be facilitated but this should be discussed/arranged with the owner/caretaker. You will receive their contact details well in advance of your stay. 

In general, minor changes such as changing the amount of persons, extending an existing booking, requesting a cot, pet etc. do not incur any additional administration fees.

However, the following will incur some charges:

  1. Change of dates in same property:
    Holiday dates may be changed for the booking if the cottage is available for the new dates and the owners are agreeable to the change.
  2. The following would apply for requests for a change of property: 
    Once a booking has been accepted by Love Connemara Cottages, the booking can only be changed to another cottage by treating the original booking as a cancellation (see cancellation policy below). 

A €25 re-booking fee is payable in either event.

In the event that you have to cancel your reservation for any reason, the cancellation charges will be as follows. If the cancellation takes place between:

  • 0 – 13 days before arrival 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited by the customer.
  • 14 – 27 days before arrival 75% of the total rental amount will be forfeited by the customer.
  • 28 – 55 days before arrival 60% of the total rental amount will be forfeited by the customer.
  • 56 days or more before arrival the deposit will be forfeited by the customer.

Yes, agreement to a security deposit is required in order to access your booked property. This information will be displayed on your booking summary at the time of booking. The property you book will be assessed after your departure. If there are any breakages or damages we will inform you of them on the next working day and a deduction will be made from your credit/debit card, as appropriate.

Where pets are accepted, they are not allowed on furniture, in bedrooms, or on carpeted areas.
